Facebook will tell people about events from their favorite pages

When people don`t interact with pages they liked, they stop seeing page updates and this is a major problem for marketers. But facebook is taking care of letting people know if there is an event they would like to visit.

Facebook has invented a subscribe button in order to send notifications to users every time there is an event happening nearby. Users can either find it by visiting a facebook page they have liked or directly through their homepage, by clicking on the “events” section and then selecting the “subscribed” option. There they can select the pages they want to follow and get notified for regarding upcoming events.

A lot of businesses on facebook may benefit from this feature. For example, musicians, restaurants, night clubs, cinemas, culinary, language and art schools, theatres, fashion shops and many more should periodically remind their fans that they can subscribe for their upcoming events.
